ADULT ART THERAPY GROUP

Mondays 3rd October – 21st November

1.00 – 3.00pm

Jo Lockett-Bryan, our Art Therapist at MCTC, will be offering an 8 week Art Therapy Group for Adults

Sometimes feelings can be difficult to put into words…..

This group will be an opportunity to explore feelings, especially difficult or painful ones, through art, using a variety of materials and media eg paint, clay, salt, sand, paper and card, charcoal, pencils, pens, crayons etc

No artistic experience or expertise needed.

 

Cost:

£10.00   Per Session (to cover materials)

£70.00   Full Course (booked and paid for in advance)

 

 

LIVING MINDFULLY AT MCTC

Mondays 6.00 – 7.30

10th October – 29th November 2016

Tuesdays 25th April – 13th June 2017

If you are Stressed, Anxious, Tense, Busy, Suffering from Depression or any form of mental illness or want to deepen your interior life

MINDFULNESS can help

Mindfulness is simply the practice of

being present in the present moment

something that we can so easily lose touch with in our busy, noisy, full lives or when we are upset or distressed for any reason.

8 week course

covering 8 aspects of MINDFULNESS

  • Mindfulness of the BREATH
  • Mindfulness of the WHOLE BODY
  • Mindfulness of THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS
  • Mindfulness of the EYES
  • Mindfulness of the EARS
  • Mindfulness of the VOICE
  • Mindfulness in the SENSE OF TOUCH
  • Mindful EATING

Although the course will build week on week as we learn and practice different techniques of mindfulness, it is also possible to attend any individual session.

Cost:

Individual session      £20.00

Full Course (booked and paid in advance)   £120.00
