We’ve formally opened our new building

We were delighted to welcome our Patron, the Right Honourable Frank Field MP to the Centre on 30th October. It was an Frank Fieldopportunity to show him round our beautiful new building, talk with him about our work and to introduce him to some of our trustees and therapists.

Since moving in January this year, we have provided over 1,250 therapy sessions as well as Bereavement Support Training, Art Therapy, Groups and Complementary Therapies for Carers, Breath of Life Workshops, Suicide Prevention Training, Creative Practice Training and more…

Everyone who approached the Centre was seen within two weeks and nobody was turned away.

Christmas Alone

we would like to offer a few days of Free ‘Open Therapy’ for anyone who cannot enjoy Christmas for whatever reason – maybe because they are alone or have recently lost a loved one, perhaps they have painful memories of previous Christmases or are simply too weary with the invisible burdens they carry through life to embrace Christmas. Therapies

‘Open Therapy’ will include complementary therapy sessions (massage, reiki, relaxation, reflexology etc), art therapy, counsellors available for anyone who wants an informal chat, drinks and mince pies and a relaxation/chill out room…

Would you be willing to contribute to the cost of these sessions?

Would you consider setting up a monthly standing order to support MCTC’s work?

It really doesn’t need to be a large amount – any amount on a regular basis really helps to support all our work and activities.

Also with CHRISTMAS in mind:

·        We have beautiful 2016 Calendars on sale with all the art work contributed by MCTC supporters and beneficiaries £6.00 (+p&p)

·        Home-made Jams and Christmas Mincemeat£1.50 – £10.00

If you are able to support the work of MCTC with a donation or even a small monthly amount, please click here.

Please continue to support us and keep us in your thoughts.
